The institution was originally founded in 2023 as the "Kyrgyz Uzbek International Pedagogical Institute," located in a building that previously housed a college with a history of over 30 years—reflecting its initial focus on fostering educational collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. In 2024, the institute underwent a significant transformation, rebranding itself as "Swiss Global University" to better align with its expanding international vision and academic ambitions. The university is officially licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science, holding the license number D20023-0003, which underscores its commitment to providing high-quality education recognized both locally and globally. This evolution marks a pivotal moment in the university's journey, setting the stage for its future as a leading institution in global education.

Nationality: Kyrgyz
Education: Prof. Dr. Abdiev Murat Zhuratovich holds a Doctorate PhD in Economics, awarded by the Kyrgyz Higher Attestation Commission (a state body) in 2021. He is also a member of the Regional Academy of Management. Prof. Dr. Abdiev earned his Master's degree in Accounting from the Jalalabad Commercial Institute in 2000 and obtained his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution in 1999.
